Jennifer Morton

Social Worker
MSW, RSW

I am a registered social worker & therapist at the clinic. I have been practicing as a registered social worker at North York General Hospital for the last 13 years.

With my experience both in private practice & hospital settings, I have had the privilege & responsibility to counsel teens & their families through some of life’s most challenging situations. As a therapist at the North York General Hospital Adolescent Eating Disorders Program, I am very experienced with providing evidence-based treatment to teens & their families with disordered eating patterns. As the leader & developer of parent and teen support groups, I am confident in my ability to provide care to adolescents & adults as they navigate various mental health challenges.

I use an array of treatment modalities including Family-Based treatment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I believe a fundamental principle of success in treatment is for each person to feel respected, validated & empowered.
